Heavenly Organics Fresh Pineapple Crumble
Ingredients
6 slices of cored and peeled fresh pineapple
Dash of salt
1 cup of cake or chapatti flour
1 cup of Heavenly Organics Sugar
1/2 cup of softened butter
Whipped cream, chocolate sauce, fresh dark cherries for garnish, as desired
Directions:
Preheat oven to 250. Place rings on a butter glass baking dish (use a shallow casserole). In a bowl, blend salt and flour. Blend in Heavenly Organics Sugar. With a fork, mash in softened butter. By hand, sprinkle the mixture evenly over the rings of pineapple. Press down with a spoon. Bake for thirty minutes one center rack or until fruit is starting to soften and is fork tender and topping is crispy and has a hard surface. Remove immediately and serve when slightly cooled. Whipped cream or chocolate sauce can be added as a topping when serving, garnished with a fresh whole dark cherry.
Heavenly Organics Almond Wafers
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups Heavenly Organics Sugar
1 1/4 cups butter, softened
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups of almonds, blended or chopped extremely fine
60 whole almonds
Ingredients
Preheat oven to 350. Using an electric mixer, blend butter and sugar until sugar is dissolved completely. Add almonds. Blend in flour gradually, beating continually. Drop by spoonfuls on a butter cookie sheet, topping with a whole almond. Bake about 15 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Cool before removing to a plate with a spatula.
Heavenly Organics Cinnamon Rice Porridge
Ingredients
5 cups of basmati rice
1 14 oz can of Heavenly Organics Sweetened Condensed Milk
7 cups of fresh whole unhomogenized milk, or equivalent
6 Tbsp of cinnamon
3 cups of Heavenly Organic Sugar
5 apples, peeled and grated
1 lemon
Directions:
In a heavy saucepan over low to medium heat, cook uncooked rice which has been soaked for one hour in water and rinsed clean with other ingredients, stirring constantly to avoid burning or scorching on the bottom of the pan. After rice has cooked completely, (at least twenty minutes), cook until the mixture has thickened and has a slight caramel color (thirty minutes approximately). Transfer immediately to serving dessert cups and garnish with apple and fresh lemon juice (marinate apple in juice prior to serving; do not prepare more than half hour prior to serving to avoid browning).
Heavenly Organics Pumpkin Rice Pudding
Ingredients
1 cup of fresh pumpkin, cubed, cooked and pureed
1 cup of Heavenly Organics Basmati Rice
1/2 cup raisins
1 1/2 cups of Heavenly Organics Sugar
2 Tbsp of Heavenly Organics Sugar for Dusting or Caramelizing
1 cup of whole unhomogenized organic milk, or equivalent
1 cup of Heavenly Organics Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 tsp of vanilla
1 tsp of cardamom
Fresh cream and sweet oranges for garnish, if desired
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Prepare rice as per package instructions. While warm, combine in a heave saucepan with all other ingredients, stirring gently until the sugar has dissolved and the milk has not changed color or caramelized. Transfer to a greased baking dish and bake in the oven to one half hour. Dust top with sugar and let brown slightly and remove when edges are bubbling slightly. Cover dish with aluminum foil for the first twenty minutes, and then remove. Serve with fresh cream and slices of fresh orange, which has been peeled and left at room temperature.
