Three Varieties of Himalayan Honey

Heavenly Organics sources and markets three varieties of Himalayan Honey:

Heavenly Organics® Himalayan Honey is a rich, exotic and creamy multi-floral honey that offers a complex but subtle flavor profile arising from a natural combination of diverse flowers growing in this beautiful and sacred region.

Heavenly Organics® Acacia Honey is a robust and exquisite Acacia Honey with a tangy fruitiness that is unique to this exotic Himalayan variety of Acacia and also reminiscent of the best Acacia Honeys. This rare and delicious Acacia honey is collected from the Mountains that form the border of the high plateau of the Ladakh region of Kashmir.

Heavenly Organics® White Himalayan Honey is a clear transparent honey that comes from the upper reaches of Kashmir near the border of Tibet. This extremely rare and exotic honey is as clear as water and has a rich flavor profile that is almost not noticed at first and then opens up to a world of exquisitely sumptuous subtle flavors.

Fairly Trade

The farmers in this exquisitely beautiful region of India, Kashmir, depend on the good and reliable income they receive from the exotic, pure, and highly treasured honey they collect from this sacred geography. Ironically and unfortunately, the beauty and sacredness of this beautiful part of the world, has turned Kashmir into a battleground between Pakistan and India for sovereign control. Terrorists trained in Pakistan have ruthlessly attacked the innocent people of Kashmir time and time again. This has displaced many farmers of this region who have turned to the collection of honey as a primary means of livelihood. Heavenly Organics® pays these honey collectors a premium price for this truly exotic and rare honey. Your purchase of this honey provides sustenance and strength to the gentle people of this beautiful and spiritual, yet war torn area of the world. Great care is taken to prepare the honey under the strictest organic and hygienic standards of purity. The professionals at our processing facilities are highly trained to process the honey without any direct heat. If the honey requires any de-crystallization, the honey is held in warming closets at temperatures under 90° Fahrenheit until the honey is in a liquid state.

All Heavenly Organics® honey is Certified 100% Organic by Ecocert in accordance with the organic standards of the USDA.

Sunlight and Flowers

Traditional bee keepers harvest this honey three times per year. Each seasonal variation of the honey is considered to have unique health-promoting qualities derived from the differences in the flora and seasonal variations of temperature and sunlight.

The first honey harvested in November is white or light amber in color. The honey from the second and third harvest is a reddish color owing to the different seasonal flowers.

Our honey is never heated, which ensures that all the delicate enzymes and health-promoting qualities are preserved.

A Sumptuous Combination of Flavors

Our Himalayan Honey has a complexity of flavor and smoothness in texture that is rare in the world today. It’s so rich and creamy, some people even say it tastes like butterscotch.

Sustainable, Eco-Friendly Honey Harvesting Methods

Traditional bee keepers hand-harvest this extremely rare, multi-floral honey. They are careful to use eco-friendly, natural methods that protect the bees and preserve all the natural pollen, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes of the honey.

When you buy our rare, organic, unheated, Himalayan Honey you will connect to a simpler and more natural time and place, and support an organic lifestyle that is worthy of preserving, expanding and celebrating.
